I have to thank Alessandro Miccini for granting me his father’s work which totally reflects what the Poesia Visiva (Visual Poetry) represented:
sentences, puns and images that encourage reflections and thoughts.
I met Lamberto in his Roman house where he welcomed me sharing my project straightaway. It was a great honor I could develop a t-shirt with one of the founder of the italian Poesia Visiva (Visual Poetry) and I was sure we would make a garment that would generate interesting reflections.
The first time I met Miss Lucia in her apartment, she kindly welcomed me and told me about her experience in the movement of the “visual poetry”, of which she was one of the founder and promoter.
I thought that matching a sentence to an image, typical of the visual poetry, was really appropriate to my project, so I asked her to work together to develop some t-shirts with exclusive works for the two ecological initiatives I was running.
Lucia has created two works really symbolic and expressive: “Respirare” for the project Amazonia and “Only if we care will we help” for the project Jane Goodall, which I consider among the most characteristics in our collection.
When I met Sarenco I knew he was a particular person, with an articulate life path, any project he has made, it’s surely considerable.
This is why he’s one of the founder and one of the most important artist of the italian Poesia Visiva (Visual Poetry).
We created some ironic and nice t-shirts that are very much in the context of our collection.
