Fabio De Poli was born in Genoa in 1947 and lives in Florence.
In 1964 he attended the Art Institute of Florence specializing in graphic design under the guidance of Lucio Venna. In the early seventies produced a series of works that Renato Barilli defines " rich art ".
Sadly last year on 20th July one of the greatest italian stylist, Elio Fiorucci, passed away; I had the pleasure to meet him and share with him one of his last work dedicated to one theme he cared deeply for, the protection of animals and the conservation of nature.
I remember when he authorized the print of the first t-shirt and I post the photo I took with him in his office.
I’ll never forget those moments and I took the liberty of express a thought that you can read below.
Massimo Mion, street art performer, painted the work “I care” (that he created to support the project of the construction of a house to accommodate orphans in Tanzania, managed by Jane Goodall) in the underpass of the railway station of San Cristoforo in Milan and afterwards in the community centre De André in Osnago.
Therefore his work, not only can be shared wearing our t-shirt, but can also be admired in these two murals.
Itart t-shirts are produced in a limited edition of 400 pieces.
