I must thank Guido if the Itart project has shared and taken part to ecological initiatives, as Guido himself is a person extremely sensitive to these subjects. His friendship to Jane Goodall, as well as his participation to all other projects with WWF testifies his attention to this theme.
T-shirts are printed with images that portray animals using the “body painting” technique, which means painting on hands and then photographing them, creating really unique works. Also messages and images on the back part of the t-shirts are very special.
Guido Daniele, who was born in 1950 in Soverato (CZ) lives and works in Milan.
From 1964 to 1968 he attended the Art College in Brera and then the sculpture course at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera from 1968 to 1972.
From 1972 to 1974 he attended the school of Tibetan Tankas and Dharamsala in India.
From 1972 to 1986 he worked with the publishing and advertising as an hyper illustrator using every technique.
Since 1986 he creates designs for pictures, commercial and television programs, airbrush painting with sceneries up to 400sqm.
He painted also “trompe l’oeil” for private homes and for facilities.
Since 1990 he has added to his wealth of experience also the technique of body painting, painting the models’ bodies for photos, movies, commercials, fashion shows and events.
His artistic research in recent years has led him to combine two traditional portrait techniques: photography and oil painting lying on the photographic medium, in the manner of Jan Saudek.
His master for shooting and manual print in darkroom has always been renowned photographer Francesco Radino.
His research began in 2000 on “Mani Animali” (“Animal Hands”) made with the technique of Body Painting is enjoying great international interest.
